About

About Me

I have been a writer for over 20 years. I Attended Journalism at The University of Lincoln, studied Psychology, and have a lifelong interest in sleep, dreams, and the unexplained. I also write fiction; sci-fi, and fantasy. I endeavour to improve my writing, and research. And develop my knowledge and understanding of the topics I am interested in.

I have an amazing, unique Daughter, a fat old black cat, and a loving partially sighted partner. There is a 1920s royal typewriter, and a quill in my writing den. I've always preferred to write by hand with pen and paper.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, computer games, comedy, and generally being a nerd.

I tend to be a shy, private person. I have suffered and endured depression all my life. My life has been eventful with experiences of both trials and treats.

About my Interests

I am a naturally curious person. Many things fascinate me.

I first became interested in mysteries and the unexplained when I was in my early teens. I think it is the possibilities and questions that fascinate me most. The questions, until they are truly answered, can have (almost) any answer.

Sleep is important. Everyone dreams. We know that is a fact. My passion is writing and researching sleep and dream sciences; their problems, as well as their mysteries.

My interest in theoretical physics came later. I was reading Hyperspace by Michio Kaku and the concept that anything imagined could be real somewhere fascinated me.

My fiction writing and my non-fiction writing are so closely linked with everything I am interested in. If you look back through the history of science fiction you will find a lot of the technology and knowledge that we now take for granted. Writers have been inspired by science and scientists have been inspired by what they read in fiction, especially sci-fi.

Other things I am fascinated with and you might find me writing about on here:

  • Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Cosmology,
  • History, and Archaeology ,
  • Mythology and Legends,
  • Biology, and Genetics,
  • UFO's, and Aliens,
  • Science-Fiction, and Fantasy,
  • Food, and cooking,
  • Animal World, and all life,
  • Theology, and Philosophy.

In fact, you might see me write about anything mysterious, and thought provoking.

I believe the heart of all mysteries captivates imagination and inspires creativity.

It seems that the more I read, the more I need to know, and the more I know I cannot know.

If you have a question, or a request, please send me an email. There will be an article if you can get me interested.
